The Pod & Imaginarium

The future focused facility, The Pod officially opens on 1 June. The Pod and Imaginarium are the first of its type in a P-12 school in Australia. The climate-control technologies can teleport students from the icy cold environments of Antarctica to the sweltering Sahara Desert and even off planet to Mars with the wave of a wand. Stephen Hunter, the Computer Resources Manager of the International Space Station at NASA Johnson Space Centre in Houston Texas, visits the College and brings his skills to the College to work alongside the students. In addition to sharing stories of his experience working with astronauts, space exploration and computer science, Mr Hunter took Junior Secondary students on a virtual journey on board the International Space Station.
