So, what does Advancement and our Foundation mean exactly?

With a focus on student development, educational programs, facilities enhancement, innovative and impactful initiatives - the Foundation is dedicated to supporting endeavours aligned with our purpose and our core values. Through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, fundraising, and active community engagement, the Foundation will serve as the backbone of our College's philanthropic initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and opening doors to new opportunities.

Everything the Foundation does is organised around three fundamental pillars of engagement: story, people, and process. We tell the story of our College. We help people find their place in that story, and we manage the process/ways that enable these two things to happen.

You are already an integral part of something truly special—a journey that leaves an everlasting mark on generations to come–you are forever part of our Coomera Anglican College story. Your involvement, whether through donations, volunteering, or advocacy, can shape the trajectory of lives and the landscape of education.

Our Foundation is not just about building structures; it's about building dreams. We are architects of change, sculptors of potential, and champions of limitless possibilities.

Through our Coomera Anglican College Foundation, anything is not just possible – it's inevitable.

"We aren’t just human doing – we are human being!"

Coomera Anglican College is delighted to welcome Nikki Ward as the new Foundation Officer. In this important role, Nikki will help strengthen community connections and support initiatives that create opportunities for students and families.

Motto

At the heart of the Coomera Anglican College Foundation beats an unyielding commitment to redefine educational standards. Our Motto is simple: Empowering Change - Where Anything is Possible! We are here to empower students, equipping them not just with knowledge but with the resilience and creativity needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

Networking Events

The Coomera Anglican College Foundation hosts networking events that play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and support within our community. These events serve as platforms for bringing together alumni, parents, donors, and other stakeholders, creating opportunities for meaningful connections, relationships and collaboration. Networking events facilitate the exchange of ideas, experiences, and expertise among attendees, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and shared commitment to our College Mission.

These gatherings often serve as a catalyst for philanthropy, encouraging individuals to contribute to the Foundation's initiatives and support the growth of our College. By creating a space for interpersonal connections and shared goals, Coomera Anglican College Foundation networking events play an instrumental role in building a supportive network that extends beyond the classroom, benefiting both the College and its broader community.

Bursary Fund

We believe in democratising education. Our bursary programs are not just about recognising academic prowess but also about uncovering and nurturing diverse talents. Through the generosity of our community, we break down financial barriers, unlocking doors to education for promising minds who might otherwise go unnoticed.

The Coomera Anglican College Bursary Fund was established to create opportunities for all students to study at Coomera Anglican College, to reach their full potential, and to enrich a genuine love of learning within our caring, supportive community.

Various bursaries will be available under the Bursary Fund to:

  • offer meritorious students from low-income or disadvantaged families the chance to attend Coomera Anglican College from Year 7 to complete their Junior Secondary and Secondary schooling;
  • support currently enrolled students with full or part bursaries so that they may continue their education at the College, despite genuine financial hardship that their family may be experiencing; and
  • offer current senior Secondary students at Coomera Anglican College an opportunity to extend their academic learning, challenge themselves personally, and nurture their emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and cultural growth as individuals, with life-changing experiences, adventures, and community responsibility both within Australia and abroad.

Building Fund

Education is an experience, and our commitment to excellence extends to the physical spaces where learning happens. State-of-the-art facilities, inspiring arts spaces – these are not just enhancements; they are pathways to inspiration and innovation. The Foundation ensures that our campus is not just a place of learning but a space that ignites curiosity and passion.

The Building Fund aims to assist the College with its ambitious and continued master plan of capital works that will see current and future generations of students learning and growing in future-focused facilities.

Recent funds raised have gone to the construction of The POD, Aquatic Centre, and assisted in the construction of the Senior Primary Classroom Block.

Current project is the construction of new Secondary building, due to be completed by 2025.

Tax Deductibility

Voluntary gifts to the Coomera Anglican College Foundation, Coomera Anglican College Building Fund and Scholarship Fund are tax deductible and can be made in a number of ways:

  • Regular Giving: Regular donations are the lifeblood of our philanthropic activities. These regular contributions enable the College to maintain a regular schedule of events to assist the ongoing advancement of our students and College community. Most donors find it convenient to make a regular contribution by monthly deduction from a nominated bank account.  One off donations can also be made at any time.
  • Capital Campaigns: As major projects take place at Coomera Anglican College, special capital campaigns will be conducted. These campaigns rely heavily on donations from our current and past parents and students and the wider community. Every contribution makes a huge difference.
  • Bequest Program: Benefactors may be interested in leaving a gift of money, property or other items from their estate in their will to benefit future generations with the gift of a Coomera Anglican College education. We would be happy to assist you to provide the necessary wording for your bequest and are so grateful for your visionary and impactful decision to do so.
