The Coomera Anglican College Netball Academy has been established as a result of the excellent results our teams have achieved in the APS, the NGCNA Club competition and the Netball Queensland organised Samsung Cup and Vicki Wilson Cup competitions. In 2017, the College will compete for the first time in the QISSN Competition.

Coomera Anglican College and Golden South Jaguars Netball recently announced a strategic partnership which will see the Golden South Jaguars based at the College for the 2018 season and hopefully beyond.

Course Structure

The Coomera Anglican College Netball Academy emphasis is to advance skills, physicality and game sense, along with creating a well-educated, mentally strong athlete.  The Netball Academy programme has been carefully designed to meet the needs of the participant and will incorporate the following key components:

  • Technical ability and skill acquisition sessions.
  • Tactical knowledge and execution.
  • Strength and Conditioning including the highly acclaimed “Fast Feet Programme”
  • Player wellbeing programmes including Pilates and Yoga.

The College is proud to have received the Netball Queensland award for “School of the Year 2017” at the annual presentation dinner held in Brisbane on Saturday 24 March 2018.

We are also very proud of our Netball Coordinator, Miss Anna Young, who was also recognised at this event, being awarded “Administrator of the Year 2017” for all her hard work, commitment and dedication to netball. This is wonderful recognition for the College and its netball programme.
