Celebrating 2021 and 25 Years

As all of our students have finished their academic year at the College, we reflect on the year of 2021.  All that our students have achieved and the hard work and dedication from our teachers and staff that helped make this possible. 

Our key highlights from the year include:

  • 25 Year Barn Dance - a celebration from the small farmhouse that the College has grown from
  • Year 12 Formal
  • Visit of the Teddy Bear Hospital for Year 1 students
  • Class of 2017 Taylor Smith with the Brisbane Lions wins their first AFLW premiership
  • ANZAC Day Service
  • Beauty and the Beast College Musical
  • Author visit from Brisbane-based author Nick Earls for Year 11 English students
  • Senior Art Students honoured with a visit from Archibald Prize Finalist Abdul Abdullah
  • Year 12 Hospitality Students preparing a two-course meal taking inspiration from the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl
  • Romancing the stars held on campus in conjunction with Links Books
  • Year 12 boys undertaking the World's Greatest Shave to raise over $10,000 for the Leukemia Foundation
  • Students embarking on their Duke of Edinburgh Award 
  • Class of 2006 Past Student Jade Wall made it into the Australian Softball team for the Tokoyo 2020 Olympics
  • Early Learning Students embracing this year's NAIDOC theme 'Heal Country' 
  • Year 12 mentoring programme with Primary Students

  • Launch of the CACavators School Holiday Programme 
  • Chinese Moon Festival Celebrations
  • Author Nadia Sunde visited our Year Two students
  • Class of 2020 Year 12 Graduate Dom guest judge for the Senior and Junior Art Exhibition
  • Year 12 Final assembly and our wonderful teachers performing for our students
  • Show Chorus winning Gold at the 2021 MusicFest
  • Our Corporate Golf Day (even though it rained)
  • Secondary Debating Team making it to the Grand Finals

  • Opening of the CAC Time Capsule that was buried in the Primary Prayer Garden in 2006 at the College's 10-year celebration.
