CBSQ – Champion Basketball School of Queensland Open Competition

Congratulations to all our players who recently competed in the Champion Basketball of Queensland Open competition (CBSQ). 

The Boys team competed for the first time ever in the Championships division and were very competitive against some of the best teams in Queensland. After some tough loses, they finished with a good win and place 15th in the competition. 

The Girls team competed in the 2nd Division and played some exceptional Basketball culminating in the team winning the Gold Medal. This win promotes the team to the Championship division next year.

What makes their efforts truly remarkable is that most players in each team will be eligible for this competition again next year and they will also be eligible to participate in the Yr 9 & 10 competition in Term 4.

A big thank you to all the players and their parents for their support and special mention to the coaches, Jack Mackenzie and Christiaan Van Peppen (Boys) and Jasmin Howe and Brady Walsley (Girls) for their superb efforts in coaching the teams throughout the competition.
