Coomera Anglican College is fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers on our Parents and Friends’ Association (PAFA) who generously give of their time to support our staff, families and students.
PAFA’s mission is to provide a mutually supportive environment for the College community in which every member has the opportunity to contribute to the success of the teachers, staff, families and most importantly your children.
PAFA Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each term in the Main Administration Building, commencing at 7.00pm. These meetings are relaxed and friendly, and light refreshments are available. All College parents, grandparents and friends are invited to attend – it’s a great way to meet other parents and members of the College community, and contribute through discussion and planning of events and activities. All ideas and feedback are warmly welcomed!

2018 Executive Team

Roles and Responsibilities of Executive Team
“Just One Thing” … in 2018, we again ask all parents to help PAFA by volunteering your time for just one thing. Many hands make light work and your assistance, no matter how great or small, will make a difference. Whether your children are just starting Prep or entering their final year of high school, your support sends a positive message that you take great interest in their education and in their College community. In recent years, PAFA have successfully fundraised for the ‘Climate Management Control’ project, which has resulted in the installation of air conditioning units in classrooms across the College, as well as our “Shade & Seating” project to provide additional outdoor shading and seating facilities for our children.
PAFA’s 2018 Calendar of Events
PAFA’s first major fundraising event for 2018 will be Trivia Night to be held in March. In addition, PAFA coordinate the College’s annual Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day gift stalls, Dads’ BBQ Brekky, Grandparents Day morning tea and various other activities.
Each year, PAFA seek parents to help out as Class Coordinators for each Primary class. The role of Class Coordinator is a valuable liaison role for families within class groups, year levels and the College.

School Banking Information
The School Banking program includes an exciting Rewards Program designed to encourage children to get into the habit of making regular savings. Taking part in School Banking is easy. Primary Students just need to bring their deposit in to class every Friday using their Dollarmites deposit wallet. Each classroom has a large grey school banking wallet where the children place their yellow wallets. If your child has misplaced their Dollarmites deposit book or deposit wallet, they can request a new one from either the local branch or contact the School Banking Co-ordinator. Secondary Students can drop their Yellow wallets off at the Secondary Administration.
